Job Description & Responsibilities:-
- Prepare and deliver product messaging in an effort to highlight Google Cloud Platform value proposition and unique differentiators (i.e., whiteboarding, slide presentations, product demonstrations, white papers, trial management, request for information response documents).
- Work with Google Cloud Platform products to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer/partner environments.
- Analyze and make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events up to 25% of the time, as needed.
Eligibility Criteria:-
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with technical sales engineering in a cloud computing environment or a customer-facing role.
- Experience with legacy and modern application development, cloud service delivery, and deployment.
- Experience with containers and associated technologies.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Preferred Skill Set:-
- Experience with advanced areas of networking, Linux, SDN, virtualization, open protocols, application acceleration, load balancing, DNS, VPNs and their application to PaaS/IaaS technologies, and large-scale VMware deployments.
- Experience developing scalable architectures using API management, microservice frameworks, and PaaS, and container orchestration systems (i.e., Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cloud Foundry, etc.).
- Experience with cloud-native software development methodologies and tools for application development/deployment stages (i.e., CI/CD).
- Experience with logging/monitoring of hybrid-cloud workloads.
- Ability to learn/work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.
