During the PPAP process, all the mechanical parts will need 100% inspection in Pune as the majority of the dimension on the drawing are critical. (This requirement is different than normal PMC products and it will not change). Incoming inspection must be completed in house with the already purchased Tianjin equipment for the parts already qualified. The Pune A team will need to lead the effort for any of the new parts not through incoming inspection in Tianjin.
Preferred Skill Set:-
In addition to PPAP, the Pune QA team will do inspection of the first 5 production lots based on the AQL. Subsequent inspections extent and frequency will be modified based on the results. The meterbody parts will not be dock to stock.
We have dual suppliers for most of the component parts so suggest that the Pune QA team develops a similar plan to what was done in Tianjin. There are a lot of inspections in parallel so lots of space and coordination of tasks are needed.
