Job Description & Responsibilities:-
- Successfully deliver as part of a team on major projects and complex assignments with broad scope and long-term business implications.
- Work closely with team of engineers on assigned projects to assist in implementation tasks.
- Assist with support issues by troubleshooting incidents and problem tickets.
- Deliver solutions by providing direct development of software.
- Communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a global environment.
Eligibility Criteria:-
- 6 months to 2 years of overall career experience into Java development
- Familiarity with a variety of architectural patterns including multi-tiered web applications and high performance, high availability transaction processing systems
- Must provide the necessary skills to have a high degree of initiative and self-motivation to drive results.
- Possesses strong communication skills — both verbal and written – and strong relationship, collaborative skills, and organizational skills.
- Willingness and ability to learn quickly and take on challenging opportunities and to work as a member of matrix based diverse and geographically distributed project team.
- Knowledge of software development processes including agile processes and test-driven development
- Must be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive and can function under pressure in an independent environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
Required Skills Set:-
- Proficient in Core Java including multi-threading
- Intermediate knowledge of Java/J2EE/Spring Framework (including Spring Boot)
- Understanding of Java unit testing and typical frameworks used
- Knowledge of Splunk, creating dashboards, alerts/monitors.
- Understanding of Oracle & PL/SQL and advanced SQL scripting
- IDE such as JBoss Developer Studio/IntelliJ
- Knowledge of Distributed Computing at scale
- Understanding of at-scale distributed compute such as Gemfire, Apache Spark, Distributed
- Redis, Hazelcast, GridGain or similar
- Messaging – MQ and JMS
- Strong Linux and shell scripting
- Knowledge of integrating vendor and open-source products into an overall system
