What You’ll Do – Role Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst at ShareChat, you will play a critical role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Data Querying: Utilize SQL to run advanced queries on ShareChat’s analytical engine built on BigQuery.
- Scripting & Automation: Write scalable scripts to interact with various API endpoints, helping automate data retrieval and transformation.
- Behavioral Data Analysis: Analyze large-scale user behavior data to uncover trends, usage patterns, and opportunities for product enhancement.
- Critical Thinking: Use analytical reasoning to identify correlations, outliers, and actionable insights from diverse datasets.
- Detail-Oriented Analysis: Work with precision, ensuring data accuracy and reliability in every analysis you deliver.
Who You Are – Key Qualifications
We’re looking for analytical minds with a passion for storytelling through data. Our ideal candidate would possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
- Prior experience working as a data analyst or business analyst.
- Strong skills in SQL and understanding of data models, database development, and data mining techniques.
- Hands-on experience with reporting tools (such as Business Objects) and programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, XML).
- Proficiency with statistical tools like Excel, SPSS, or SAS.
- High attention to detail with a strong ability to collect, organize, interpret, and present data-driven insights.
- Excellent report writing and data visualization capabilities.
