Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Summer Intern, you will:
- Collaborate with mentors on live research projects in AI, ML, and Data Science.
- Apply data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving skills to real-world problems.
- Work on AI/ML applications including supervised and unsupervised learning, regression, classification, clustering, and neural networks.
- Perform data manipulation and analysis on large datasets using Python, Pandas, and NumPy.
- Explore Deep Learning, Foundation Models, and Generative AI solutions.
- Contribute to projects involving unstructured data processing.
- Gain hands-on experience with AI libraries/frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Work with cloud and AI platforms like IBM Watsonx.ai or similar technologies.
- Learn about risks and ethical challenges in AI deployments including responsible use of AI agents.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree (in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields).
Required Technical & Professional Expertise
- Strong coding skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy).
- Solid foundation in Linear Algebra, Probability, and Statistics.
- Hands-on experience with VS Code, Jupyter Notebooks, Git.
- Understanding of AI/ML fundamentals including classification, regression, neural networks, clustering.
- Experience with Deep Learning and Foundation Models.
- Knowledge of Generative AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Crew.ai).
- Proficiency in unstructured data processing.
Preferred Technical & Professional Expertise
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift (containerization).
- Familiarity with AI risk management and governance.
- Practical exposure to large-scale data analysis and advanced AI frameworks.
