Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure applications using modern full-stack technologies.
- Collaborate with security architects and cross-functional teams to implement robust security standards and enhancements.
- Conduct security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and drive resolutions to safeguard cloud-based platforms.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure secure, maintainable, and high-performing code.
- Work on RESTful API development and integration, ensuring compliance with OpenAPI specifications.
- Stay updated with emerging security technologies, threat intelligence, and DevSecOps practices to continually strengthen eBay’s security posture.
- Ensure compliance with eBay’s coding standards, performance benchmarks, and reliability goals.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience & Technical Skills
- Proven full-stack development experience with an emphasis on secure software development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
- Experience working with workflow engines for app development (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and OpenAPI specifications.
- Familiarity with secure cloud platforms, architecture, and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Expertise in version control systems (Git) and collaborative development practices.
- Ability to write clear, maintainable, and secure code.
