Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze vast volumes of transaction data to identify risks, fraud patterns, and customer pain points.
  • Design and develop reliable and scalable dashboards using SQL, Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, or other BI tools.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and map them to relevant data sources or data warehouses.
  • Own the creation and delivery of periodic performance metrics, visual reports, and executive dashboards.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, outliers, and actionable insights.
  • Execute cross-functional, high-impact analytical projects aimed at improving operational performance and fraud detection.
  • Utilize statistical techniques such as regression analysis, ANOVA, forecasting, and machine learning to derive insights.
  • Partner with engineering, product, and operations teams to align data strategies and improve process efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable analytics solutions and data frameworks for long-term risk prevention.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in analytics, business intelligence, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex queries involving multiple datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL, data warehousing concepts, and handling large-scale datasets.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and VBA.
  • Demonstrated ability in problem-solving, root cause analysis, and deriving business insights from data.
  • Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Amazon QuickSight.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Amazon Redshift and other AWS technologies.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, R, or Perl.
  • Exposure to statistical tools such as SAS, or using Python/R for advanced analytics.
  • Background in fraud detection, risk control, or e-commerce analytics is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage unstructured problems, synthesize large datasets, and deliver practical solutions.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data insights to real-world business problems.
  • Adaptability in fast-paced, high-volume environments with shifting priorities.
